Greater Coucal, possibly!

The lockdown and the absence of humans has brought out many birds, who've occupied the woods near our home. This bird appears to be the Greater Coucal (compared with an image from the net), but not too sure about it!

Stop appraising Modi! And start doing!

The opposition is targeting Modi for the current Covid-19 situation, saying that he called the lockdown too late, or too soon, that we are not testing enough, or not well enough, or not providing economic relief, and the like. 

All parties have been harping on the fact that we are a federal structure and Modi shouldn't have too much power centralized. 

Well, now is the time to act as a truly federal democracy. Assume for a minute, that Modi is doing everything wrong, or not doing anything. 

Let all those who celebrate federalism, stop appraising Modi and do whatever they think is best for the country.

Mixed feelings, seeing Bombay this way; while I admire its beauty without the crowd and the chaos, there is a tinge of sadness seeing the life sucked out!
